Tezu is the Lohit district headquarters in Mishmi country: riverside walks on the Lohit, the Glow lake, and the short drive to Parashuram Kund, the pilgrimage gorge where January’s fair draws thousands. The official Tinsukia-Tezu-Hayuliang circuit runs through it.
