Who we are
Mapping Memories
We are a small travel team based in Nagaland, building trips across Northeast India. Mapping Memories started the way most good things here do — with people driving their own roads, staying in their own villages, and slowly becoming the ones friends-of-friends message when they want to visit.
How we work
- We plan what we've travelled. Routes, homestays and timings on this site are ones we've used ourselves.
- Small groups and custom trips. Fixed departures for festivals and treks; custom plans for everything else.
- WhatsApp, not a portal. You message a real person, we reply with a real plan, and confirm everything in writing.
- Honest numbers. When we don't know a price yet, we say so. You'll never see an invented "was" price on this site.
What we're building
Hornbill Festival 2026 is our first flagship — a full mini-site of dates, packages and practicals. From there we're mapping Nagaland village by village, then Assam, Meghalaya and the rest of the region. The journal is where the mapping happens in public.
Talk to us
No forms, no ticket queues. One WhatsApp message with your dates and an idea is enough to start.
