Assam’s five national parks anchor the wildlife story, Kaziranga and Manas as World Heritage Sites. Then the oddities: Keibul Lamjao, the world’s only floating national park, the Amur falcon staging on the Doyang, and Pakke’s community-run hornbill nests.
