Wokha is Lotha country on its own range of hills: the Doyang river and reservoir to the south, and one of the great wildlife spectacles of the region when hundreds of thousands of Amur falcons stage at the Doyang roost on their way from Siberia to Africa (October-November window).

Tokhu Emong, the Lotha post-harvest festival, opens November.
