Pasighat is the region’s oldest administrative town, on the Siang (Tsangpo-become-Brahmaputra) where it exits the gorge: Adi cultural heartland, Daying Ering wildlife sanctuary in the river, and the junction of routes to Yingkiong, Aalo and the Assam plains.
Solung, the Adi festival, runs in the early-September window.
