Dzukou is the famous valley walk; Kapamodzu is the tabletop with the flowers to itself. Both are southern Nagaland classics, and the honest comparison saves you the wrong trek.

Pick Dzukou if
You want the bucket-list valley, the green bowl photographs and a night under the ridgeline. The full trek guide and our guided trek cover it.
Pick Kapamodzu if
You want the 360 view, the cosmos season, wooden-cabin mornings and a summit without the signature-trek crowds. The peak guide has the details; our departure wraps Kisama and the Mosen viewpoint into the same two days.
Do both
With 4-5 days the two combine cleanly: Dzukou from the Kohima side, then the southern highway to Pfutsero and Kapamodzu. Ask us for the combined plan; it is our favourite southern line.
