Miao is the small town at the gate of Namdapha National Park on the Noa-Dehing river: forest office and permits, the mini zoo and orchid centre, and Lisu and Chakma villages along the park fringe.
Best time: November-March.

Permits & season for Arunachal Pradesh
ILP required for Indian nationals; PAP for most foreign nationals. Arranged ahead of travel; we handle it for booked travellers.
