Which two days do you recommend?

Naga dancers around a carved log drum at the Hornbill Festival

Quick answer: Opening days (December 1–2) for the inaugural ceremony and full tribal turnout, or a mid-week pair for thinner crowds. Closing is the loudest and the fullest.

Part of the dates & itinerary doubts people send us before booking the Hornbill Festival. Everything below is how the trip actually works when you travel with us.

Can we extend the trip? Yes: extra camp nights, or upgrade to Hornbill & Dzükou 4D/3N (₹7,999) or the 5D/4N with Khonoma (₹12,999).

What is the day-by-day itinerary? Day 1: Dimapur pickup (6:00/10:30 AM), ~3h drive, afternoon at the festival, camp dinner and bonfire. Day 2: full festival day. Day 3: final festival morning, drive back, evening drop.
