First-timers, solo travellers, couples, families, seniors?

Naga dancers mid-air during a Hornbill Festival performance

Quick answer: First-timers: ideal, that is the point. Solo: half the camp. Couples: yes, private tent advised. Families with children around 8+: yes. Seniors: doable, but we recommend the Kohima-hotel private version for 60+.

Part of the who this package is for doubts people send us before booking the Hornbill Festival. Everything below is how the trip actually works when you travel with us.

Party trip or cultural experience? Culture first: arena, morungs, tribes. Nightlife is optional, the concerts and the carnival, you choose your ratio.

Plan it with us

We run these trips directly: our own camp at Kisama, our own vehicles and coordinators, no third party between you and the team on the ground. Message us on WhatsApp or see every Hornbill Festival 2026 package.
