At the Hornbill Festival: The Pochury morung tells the Yemshe matchmaking story and the flower-ridge country of Kapamodzü above their villages.

Traditional dress and craft

Pochury cloth carries fine red-and-white weave; wild-flower and rhododendron motifs from their highland slopes appear in modern craft.

The Pochury of Meluri and Zhavame celebrate Yemshe in October, and their villages host the Kapamodzü festival camp each December 3-4 on the official calendar.
