Arrival timing

Pickup batches leave Dimapur at 6:00 AM or 10:30 AM (airport and railway station both). Land by the evening before and we add a night near the station, or land by ~10:00 AM on Day 1 and go straight up the hill. Later than that and you miss the first festival afternoon.

Lucknow connects to Dimapur through Delhi, Guwahati or Kolkata. With the flight booked, the whole trip is: land Dimapur, 3 hours to the festival valley, ten days of Naga culture.

Solo travellers: our [solo guide](/journal/hornbill-festival-solo-travel-guide/) explains why the camp turns a solo trip into a group one.
