The Tikhir Tribe

At the Hornbill Festival: The Tikhir morung, one of the smallest communities in the arena, carries the Saramati frontier’s story and stone-boulder harvest rites.

Traditional dress and craft

Tikhir cloth favours deep indigo with red edging; ritual stone-pulling ropes and horn implements are their speciality display.
