Morning, the arena
Tribal performance rotations in the arena, each day features different troupes in the morning programme, so no two days look alike.
Afternoon, the grounds
Indigenous games and traditional sports typically begin their rounds, wrestling, archery and traditional contests at the grounds.
Evening, Kohima
Local music evenings and the carnival building up in Kohima.
Who this day suits: Mid-week days (Dec 2–5) are the sweet spot: the same programme with thinner crowds than the opening weekend.
