Hornbill Festival from Howrah

December 1–10 · Kisama Heritage Village, Nagaland

The way this works. Book your own travel to Dimapur, from Howrah, via Kolkata, and we take over the moment you land: airport or station pickup, camp stay, all meals, guide, festival passes and permits. The 3D/2N package is ₹4,999 per person, final price, GST included.

By flight

Fly Howrah → Kolkata → Dimapur (or Guwahati). Bookable as one ticket; Kolkata has the deepest Northeast connectivity in India. From Howrah itself, the practical airport is Kolkata.

By train

Trains toward Howrah, then the Guwahati–Dibrugarh line into Dimapur, 24–40h total. The overnight stretch is fine; the whole thing is long.

Trip shape

3–4 days minimum (travel + 2 festival days); 6–7 days if you're adding Dzükou, Khonoma or Kaziranga.

Arrival timing

Pickup batches leave Dimapur at 6:00 AM or 10:30 AM (airport and railway station both). Land by the evening before and we add a night near the station, or land by ~10:00 AM on Day 1 and go straight up the hill. Later than that and you miss the first festival afternoon.
