Arrival timing
Pickup batches leave Dimapur at 6:00 AM or 10:30 AM (airport and railway station both). Land by the evening before and we add a night near the station, or land by ~10:00 AM on Day 1 and go straight up the hill. Later than that and you miss the first festival afternoon.
Ahmedabad to Dimapur: one change via Delhi or Kolkata, roughly five hours in the air. The 3-hour hill road to Kohima follows.
