The Dzongri trek is Sikkim’s classic short high trek: five days from Yuksom through rhododendron cloud forest to the alpine meadow at Dzongri (about 13,000ft), with the pre-dawn climb to Dzongri Top for sunrise over Kanchenjunga and Pandim.
Permits apply (protected area, West zone) and registered agencies run the logistics.
